Air Duct Cleaning

Breathe easier-improve home air quality and reduce allergens.

Air Duct Cleaning

Our air quality experts have combined proven techniques with the powerful advanced technology air duct cleaning system to remove years of harmful contaminants from your home’s air ducts. Unlike other truck mounted units, we access your duct work through each vent and do not cut access holes in your duct work. Our powerful self contained 2-stage HEPA filtered unit requires no hoses running outside eliminating the need to leave doors open in inclement weather conditions.

Why Have Your Air Ducts Cleaned?

In today’s air-tight homes, indoor air quality is a growing concern. Most household dust contains mites, mold, mildew, pollen and animal dander. Many of these contaminants are re-circulated through your central air duct system causing illness and can aggravate the symptoms of asthma and allergies. In fact, the Environmental Protection Agency ranks indoor air pollution among the top 5 health issues in the United States.

Duct Cleaning 101

There are 2 methods of duct cleaning; negative air and contact duct cleaning. Negative air duct cleaning has been around for years and basically relies on air being pulled through your ductwork to remove loose dust. New technology contact duct cleaning means just that… contact! High velocity rotating brushes with a connected powerful vacuum head are inserted through each individual vent and contact all sides of your air ducts to dislodge accumulated contaminants and instantly removes harmful pollutants. It has been found that in most homes oil from cooking circulates and mixes with the air to create a sticky film of pollutants that adhere to the insides of your air ducts and just moving air across the sides just isn’t effective.

We Don’t Just Clean your Air Ducts!

  • All supply and return vent covers are carefully removed and thoroughly cleaned.
  • Ductwork is accessed through each vent starting at the furthest point from the furnace. No access holes cut into your ductwork or hoses running outside.
  • High speed rotating brushes are inserted through the vent opening to scrub and dislodge years of built up dirt and debris. Our powerful high velocity HEPA filtered unit simultaneously removes dislodged harmful pollutants, dust and allergens as well as larger debris (that over time can clog your air ducts) that vac trucks simply can’t remove!
  • Once return air ducts are cleaned the main trunk line is accessed through existing access plate and thoroughly cleaned using the same process right up to the furnace.
  • All accessible parts of furnace/AC unit are completely cleaned (without dismantling) including the blower and evaporator coil.
  • Clean supply and return vent covers are replaced to their original position.

Save Money on Heating & Cooling Costs!

Over time dust dirt and pet hair can collect and reduce air flow in your ductwork causing your HVAC system to work harder and longer to keep up. In extreme cases some air ducts can actually become clogged and not allow air flow to certain areas of your home. Stay comfortable… Save money. Make your appointment today!
